The import duty rate on our cut-to-code keys shipped by airmail to the USA is 15% plus processing costs of 3%.
Important Notice for the USA: Import Duties
- significant changes to US import regulations since February 21, 2026.
By Executive Order of President Trump all import shipments are subject to duty, regardless of value.
Import Charges You'll Pay
• AIRMAIL ONLY: 15% US import tariff (duty) on the declared value of your keys shipped by airmail, plus 3% for brokerage and processing costs, and must be pre-paid (paid to us when you order). This is for airmail only, delivered by USPS - United States Postal Service, regular/standard or express (expedited).
• FEDEX ONLY: Also offers pre-paid US Customs processing with costs higher than by USPS airmail. We'll get a total cost (duty+fees) based on your order value and delivery zip code. Or you can opt to deal with the Customs costs yourself when your FedEx package arrives in the US… we have no further information about that.
• UPS: Due to the slow and complicated outgoing service by UPS here at our location we are no longer offering UPS as a shipping option unless you have a specific need for it. If UPS is used, their fees should be similar to FedEx.
Please note (some good news at least…): US state sales taxes do not apply to our shipments to you from us outside the USA.
